Another weekend to get into the football action across Europe’s domestic leagues is here, with the games kicking off on Friday.

The Carabao Cup and the Europa League kicked things off this week, but it is now time to turn attention to the domestic leagues ahead of next week’s Champions League.

Like last week, there are a few big games to keep an eye out for this weekend, including the two huge clashes in Germany and Spain.

As per tradition, Housebets take a look at some of these games and how you can bet on all the action.

Serie A: AC Milan vs Lecce

It has not been an ideal start to life for Paulo Fonseca in Milan, but the Portuguese manager got a reprieve last weekend after AC Milan beat Inter Milan to win the first Milan derby of the season.

Before the clash, there were talks that Fonseca would be sacked if Milan suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of their rivals.

However, the Rossoneri put up their best performance of the season as they beat arguably the team in Italy.

The win saved Fonseca’s fortunes and he would want to keep it that way when Milan host Lecce in their next Serie A match.

Before the win against Inter, Milan had only won one of their first four league games, losing one and drawing two.

In addition, they were totally outclassed by Liverpool in their first Champions League game of the season.

But having gained a vital win against their city rivals, Milan will now hope to build on that against Lecce.

They should have no problem against a Lecce side without a win since August. Also, they are unbeaten in their last 12 league meeting against the Salentini, winning seven times during this period, including a 3-0 win last time they met.

Milan are the massive favourite for this match, priced at 1.38 at Housebets, while Lecce are backed at 7.60 to end their poor record against the home side.

Bundesliga: Bayern Munich vs Leverkusen

On Saturday, Vincent Kompany faces his first big test as his Bayern Munich manager when his side takes on Bayer Leverkusen.

Bayern’s dominance in the Bundesliga was ended last season by Leverkusen, who went the whole season unbeaten.

As a result, Thomas Tuchel lost his job, with Kompany announced as his replacement. Kompany was not a popular choice when he was announced but he has shut up his critics so far, with Bayern winning all their games so far this season.

However, a win against Leverkusen will signal a statement of intent from Kompany’s side. The Bavaria giants failed to win any of their two league games against Xabi Alonso’s men last season, losing 3-0 at Bay Arena and playing a 2-2 draw at the Allianz Arena.

However, Kompany’s men will fancy their chances this time as they currently sit top of the table and have scored 16 goals in their first four league games of the season.

As for Bayer Leverkusen, a win here will pull them level with their host. While they have already lost this season, Leverkusen are still a very good side under Alonso and will pose big problems for Bayern.

But the problem for Alonso’s men is that they have not kept a clean sheet in their last 34 trips to Bayern.

Leverkusen are also the massive underdog in this one, with Alonso’s men given an odd of 4.20 to win compared to Bayern’s 1.60 at Housebets.

LaLiga: Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid

Meanwhile, in Spain, there’s a big derby as Atletico Madrid host Real Madrid in the first Madrid derby of the season.

Both teams are playing catch-up to Barcelona and cannot afford to drop more points. Real come into this game on the back of a 3-2 win at home against Alaves.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men looked to be on course for a comfortable win after taking a three-goal lead until Alaves threatened a late comeback with two goals.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid come into this derby following their match against Celta Vigo on Thursday night.

Diego Simeone’s men cannot afford to lose this game if they want to challenge the big two for the title.

Meanwhile, knowing Barcelona are likely to win their game against Osasuna on Saturday, Madrid too cannot afford to fall seven points behind their arch-rivals.

Los Blancos will be without Kylian Mbappe for the game, though, meaning there could be a first start of the season for Endrick.

Madrid are the slight favourite for this one, with Los Blancos priced at 2.47 against Atletico’s 2.75.

Premier League: Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur

In the Premier League, pressure is mounting on Erik Ten Hag as his Manchester United host Tottenham Hotspur.

United put up another disappointing performance in their first Europa League game of the season after they were held to a 1-1 draw by FC Twente at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have now won just one of their last nine matches in Europe. The Twente result comes after they played a goalless draw in their last Premier League match against Crystal Palace.

These latest results have put more pressure on Ten Hag, who is losing support every day at Manchester United.

It does not get easier for Ten Hag as his side faces a Spurs side, who have not been convincing either and will be looking to build on their 3-1 win against Brentford.

Spurs have almost an identical start to Man Utd this season, with two wins, one draw and two defeats.

With the competition in the Premier League, Spurs cannot afford to lose ground in the race for the top four.

It’s hard to separate both sides but United are the slight favourite, priced at 2.29 against Spurs’ 2.80 at Housebets.
