Get to know the different types of bets you can place at Housebets.com.
Betting on different sports online can be a little bit tricky, especially if you have no idea how it works.
This is because every sport is different, and there are so many different types of bets you can place on each sport. Some sports may not even have a particular betting option, while others may have one.
This is why it is important to understand the different types of bets you can place in the sportsbook section at Housebets. As a result, let us take you through some of the bets you can place at Housebets.
Single Bets
No better place to start than the simplest one, which is the single bet. In a single bet, you are only placing a bet on one event. If your selected outcome plays out successfully, you win the bet.
However, if it doesn’t, you will lose the bet. Most times, you are betting on a team to win, but that is not the only option you can bet on in a single bet. Read more on single bets here.
Place Bet
You will find this type of bet in horse racing or racing events. Here, you are not necessarily picking the winner, but you are backing a horse to finish inside a particular range, which most time is the top two or top three. For example, you can back Kuda Bridie to finish inside the top two at the Oxford racetrack.
Each Way Bet
This is also popular among horse racing enthusiasts. Here, you are betting on two separate events but in a single transaction. In each way bet, you are betting on the horse that will win a race, while also betting on a place finish.
Multiples Bet
Sometimes, this is also called an accumulator. In this bet, you are placing a bet on more than one event on a single bet slip. However, for you to win your bet, all your predicted outcomes have to play out.
For example, if you bet on Liverpool to beat Arsenal, Carlos Alcaraz to beat Jannik Sinner, the Boston Celtics to beat the New York Knicks and the Cowboys to beat the Giants, all selections have to happen for you to win your bet.
If only three selections play out successfully, you will lose your bet. You can read more on Multi Bet or Accumulator here.
Double Bets
This is not different from an accumulator except that you are only betting on two events on a single slip. But for you to also win, both your selections must play out successfully.
Treble Bets
A treble bet also follows the same pattern, but you are selecting three events on a single bet slip with the hope of all three playing out successfully.
