Real Madrid will hope to make it three wins out of three when they take on Real Mallorca in their third LaLiga game of the new season.
It has not been vintage Madrid under their new manager, Xabi Alonso, but they have got the job done so far.
They started their campaign with a 1-0 win over Osasuna before beating Real Oviedo 3-0 last week, although the result flattered them.
Nonetheless, it is still six points from two games, with a chance to make it nine points against Mallorca on Saturday night.
One thing Alonso has been able to do, though, is make big decisions. He dropped Vinicius Jr and Trent Alexander-Arnold last weekend.
Meanwhile, Real Mallorca are still looking for their first win this season after losing 3-0 at home to Barcelona in their opening game, before playing a draw against Celta Vigo last weekend.
It appears the wait for that first win will go on, as they have not won a league game at the Bernabeu since 2009, although they did beat them at home in 2023.
Madrid are the favourites going into this game, with Xabi Alonso’s men priced at 1.18 to get the win.
Meanwhile, over 2.5 is at 1.53, as per odds from Housebets.
Augsburg vs Bayern Munich
Our pick- Bayern Munich to win
Bayern Munich are on the road as they take on Augsburg in their second game of the new Bundesliga season.
The Bavaria giants already showed that it would take something miraculous to happen for them to give up their crown after thrashing RB Leipzig 6-0 in their opening game.
With their rivals selling their star players, it is fair to say that Bayern will once again win the Bundesliga, even though we have played just one game.
Nonetheless, they still have a job to do against Augsburg, who got their campaign off to a flyer last weekend.
Sandro Wagner’s men won 3-1 at Freiburg and will go into their clash against the champions full of confidence.
The win over Freiburg came after they won 2-0 against Hallescher in their DFB Pokal clash two weeks ago.
But despite their brilliant start to the season, Augsburg are winless in their last five games at home.
History also does not favour them as they have lost their last six games against Bayern, conceding at least three goals in all matches.
The home side are massive underdogs going into the game as they are priced at 9.40 to win against Bayern’s 1.26.
Napoli vs Cagliari
Our pick: Napoli to win
Napoli got their title defence off to a flying start, as they beat Sassuolo 2-0. Antonio Conte’s men will now aim to start their home campaign with a win against Cagliari.
Coincidentally, this same clash was their final home game of last season, which was also the last game of the season.
In that game, Napoli needed to win to seal the league title. They did just that as Conte’s men won 2-0.
The Neapolitans will now be gunning for a repeat of that performance in their first home game of the season.
That should not be a problem for the champions as they have won 19 of their last 28 games against Cagliari, losing just one during this time.
With KDB getting off to a good start in Naples, anything other than a win will be a disappointment for the home side.
Cagliari, meanwhile, started their campaign with a draw against Fiorentina, but it does not look like they will get their first win of the season here, as they have lost on their last trip to Naples.
The odds also do not favour them, with the Rossoblu priced at a massive 10.00 to get a rare win in Naples.
Toulouse vs PSG
Our Pick: PSG to win or Over 2.5
Although PSG have been far from convincing so far, they will be looking to make it three wins from three when they take on Toulouse in their Ligue 1 encounter on Saturday night.
Luis Enrique’s men started their campaign with 1-0 wins over Angers and Nantes, but will be looking to step up against Toulouse.
In fairness, PSG’s average display can be excused considering their players only returned to training two weeks ago, having reached the FIFA Club World Cup final.
Nonetheless, they need to raise their level against a Toulouse side that also have two wins from two.
Carles Martinez’s side have beaten Nice and Brest without conceding a goal, and will be looking to continue in the same vein against PSG.
However, it is going to be a difficult task for the home side, as they have lost their last five home games against the Champions.
In fact, Enrique’s men are the only team that have stopped Toulouse from scoring in their last 17 league games at home.
PSG are favoured to win, with the Champions priced at 1.34, while over 2.5 is at 1.58.
Liverpool vs Arsenal
It may be just three games into the new season, but Liverpool’s clash against Arsenal could shape how the Premier League title race will turn out this season.
Both teams currently sit top of the table after two games, and it looks like that would be the situation at the end of the season.
Although the order of finish is something we might not be able to say now, we may get a glimpse after Sunday’s clash.
The two teams have a perfect start to the season, but their performances have been contrasting.
Arsenal currently sit top on goal difference after starting their campaign with a 1-0 win over Man Utd and a 5-0 thrashing of Leeds United.
Defensively, they have been solid, and it looks like they now have that X factor in attack following the addition of Viktor Gyokeres.
In contrast, Liverpool have been all over the place defensively, but their attack has been brilliant to watch.
So, it’s a case of an unstoppable force against an immovable object. Recent head-to-head favours Arsenal, with the Gunners unbeaten in their last six league games against Liverpool (W2, D4).
However, Anfield has not been a happy hunting ground for the Gunners since 2012, the last time they won a league game at the stadium.
Arsenal will be without their two star players, Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard, for the game, but have enough depth to replace them.
It is really hard to predict this game, but over 2.5 seems like the most likely outcome, given that the last three games between the two sides have been a high-scoring affair.
