Sporting Events To Bet on At Housebets This Weekend

Bet on Manchester City vs Arsenal, Juventus vs Napoli, Inter Milan vs AC Milan, and Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois at Housebets this weekend.

We are set for another great weekend of sporting action, with a whole lot of last activities lined up across different sports.

As usual, European club football will kick off the state of affairs with domestic football action returning to the forefront after the Champions League took centre stage during the week.

Meanwhile, just like last weekend, there is a big fight this weekend, although it’s taking place in London and not Las Vegas.

There is also the little matter of the Formula 1 train moving to Singapore on Marina Bay Street Circuit.

As per tradition, we take a look at some of these events and how you can bet on them.

Premier League: Manchester City vs Arsenal

This weekend is arguably a battle of the heavyweights in some of Europe’s top leagues. In the Premier League, the biggest game this weekend is the clash between the champions, Manchester City, and last season’s runner-up, Arsenal.

It promises to be an interesting clash at the Etihad as both teams sit number one and two in the embryonic Premier League table.

City have been unstoppable so far, winning four out of four so far. Arsenal have not been bad either, with the Gunners picking up ten points out of a possible 12.

Pep Guardiola’s men are favourites, though, priced at 1.80 at Housebets, while Arsenal are backed at 4.50 to cause an upset.

This should not come as a surprise, though, as City have dominated this fixture for years and are also in good form.

Although Arsenal picked up four points from City last season (1-0 and 0-0), they have lost six of their last eight league games against the champions.

In fact, before last season’s win, the last time Arsenal beat Man City in the league was in 2015, which ironically was also the last time they won at Etihad.

The Gunners’ cause is also not helped by the fact that Martin Odegaard will miss the game. Although Mikel Arteta’s men come into the game after beating Tottenham Hotspur in North London last weekend, they face a Man City that has Erling Haaland firing on all cylinders.

The Norwegian has scored nine goals in four league games this season for the champions, more than any player in Europe’s top five leagues.

Even if Arsenal possess arguably the best defence in the league, it is going to be a tall order to stop Haaland and City on Sunday.

Serie A: Juventus vs Napoli

There are two huge games taking place in Italy’s top flight this weekend. On Saturday evening, Antonio Conte returns to Allianz Stadium as his Napoli side takes on Juventus.

Conte, who led Juventus to three league titles, was appointed as Napoli's manager over the summer.

He got off to a bad start, though, as his side suffered a 3-0 defeat against Hellas Verona in their first league game of the season.

However, since then, Napoli have racked up three wins on the spin, including a 4-0 win over Cagliari last weekend.

But Conte and Napoli’s title credentials will be tested this weekend when they take on a newly-configured Juventus.

Juventus, who also have a new manager after Thiago Motta replaced Massimiliano Allegri, have started well, picking up eight points out of a possible 12.

Both sides are expected to compete for the title, with Juventus ranked as the second favourite after Inter Milan, who also have a big game this weekend.

Juventus are the slight favourite coming into this match, with the Old Lady priced at 2.15 to get the win.

Meanwhile, Napoli are priced at 3.35 to get a rare win according to odds at Housebets. History favours Juventus as they have won ten of their last 13 home games against Napoli, including last season’s 1-0 win.

Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois

Away from football- at least for now. Anthony Joshua has the chance to become a three-time heavyweight world champion when he goes for the IBF belt against Daniel Dubois.

Joshua last fought in March, knocking out Francis Ngannou in the second round. But he faces a much more difficult task when he takes on Dubois at Wembley Stadium.

No offence to Ngannou, but he is not in the same league as Dubois, who is an actual boxer. The British fighter defeated Filip Hrgovic in June to set up the clash against Joshua and will be eager to put on a show.

However, he faces Joshua who has honed his skills since he suffered a second loss to Oleksandr Usyk.

Both fighters know a huge opportunity awaits the winner as they could face the winner of Usyk vs Fury 2 for the undisputed title.

Joshua is the favourite for this one and he is priced at 1.23 compared to the 3.90 Dubois is given at Housebets.

Serie A: Inter Milan vs AC Milan

There is no better match to wrap up the weekend than the Milan derby as Inter Milan take on AC Milan at San Siro.

It’s been a contrasting start to the season for both Milan clubs, with Inter sitting in third place with eight points and Milan in tenth place with five points.

Both teams also suffered different fortunes in their Champions League matches. Milan were beaten 3-1 at home by Liverpool, while Inter earned a respectable draw against Man City at the Etihad.

There is a lot going into this clash, with Milan manager Paulo Fonseca likely to get the boot if his side loses to their city rivals.

It does not look good for the Rossoneri, though, as Inter have dominated this fixture in recent years and are one of the best teams in the world.

The Nerazzurri are also the odds favourite, priced at 1.66 at Housebets, with Milan
